My cousin that lives in Arizona just got married, and will be joining the navy very soon. Him, his wife, and son came to visit for thanksgiving. They kidnapped me from Brooklyn, shortly after I got out of class last night. I went back to my aunt’s house with them in Connecticut. Then, this morning we went to the Maury Show. The experience was interesting. We filmed three shows within a hour. One was about two best friends with red extensions & one of them accused the other of sleeping with her boyfriend, after letting her stay with them. The lie detector test determined that was a lie! Another was about a husband cheating on his wife with a eighteen year old, and the last one was about a woman named Paige. She had already been on the show three times before, for a paternity test for her youngest son. She, and this guy were convinced that the baby was his. The lie detector test determined that was a lie!
After the show ended, we went to get something to eat & went to go pick up their son from my aunt. My aunt was at women’s house that she babysits for in Greenwich Village, CT. She owns a very big, and beautiful home. While we’re there the lady tells us how she went over to a friend’s house, and had dinner with Jay-Z. She was talking as if it was nothing. I was so jealous. She gives the best hand me downs though because they’re never worn or hardly worn things. That’s how I was first introduced to J.Crew. Last year I got a Burberry shirt, and Prada fleece jacket from her. She’s awesome! On another hand, it was great sending time with my cousins because I don’t get to see them too often.
I’ve been going to a dermatologist in Brooklyn Heights for the past month. I’ve discovered that my skin & hair is very sensitive/fragile. I already get my hair wash & set once a week because not only is it part of my personal hygiene, but I’ll break out if I don’t. My friends thought I was crazy for doing so. According to, my dermatologist there’s nothing wrong with that because she told me to wash my hair more often (every five days). She also prescribed me some moisturizer, and cetaphil anti-bacterial soap for my mild acne. I’m also going to start using baby shampoo or natural hair products because it has less chemicals in it. Hopefully, this regime works.
Yesterday, I spent the whole day w/him. He made me breakfast. We also played a few games, watched movies, listened to music, and talked. He puts a smile on my face, and never fails to make me happy. He’s the sweetest. He’s just like me.
